DigitalSpectrum's MF8104Premium: a WiFi digital photo frame for Vista
What's IP addressable, runs Windows CE 5.0, plays MP3/WMA audio or WMV/MPEG-4 video, brings integrated stereo speakers and 3.5-mm audio jack, 64MB internal storage, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WiFi with WEP/WPA, and can grab media from CF/SD/XD/MMC/MS memory cards, attached USB devices like your digicam or MP3 player, or streamed over the air from your PC or other UPnP capable device? No, we're not talking 'bout the latest PMP out of Korea, these are the specs for the DigitalSpectrum MF8104Premium digital picture frame. This 10.4-inch, 800x600 pixel TFT LCD frame is available in a variety of colors and styles for mounting on the wall or tabletop to display your family snaps stored in JPG/PNG/BMP/TIFF formats. Oh, and did we mention it ships with a remote control for navigating the embedded HTTP web server and RSS feeds from your fave photo sharing sites like Flikr? Well, it does. Hell, Microsoft's Vista will even autodetect the frame and automatically feed photos from the Vista Pictures folder. Thing is, for $380, you'll wish it did more. Available for pre-order off the biggie consumer electronics websites (hint: Amazon) with shipment expected mid-January.

Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap. http://www.batteryfast.co.uk/digital-photo-frame/
I tested this camera for a client. I didn’t have the light running for more than 15 minutes. The battery lasted approximately 6 hours before recharging. The LCD, however, had a few dead pixels - never saw this before. Tried returning for exchange and had to put up quite a fight. Anyone else seen this? http://www.batteryfast.com/digital-photo-frame/

It's about time that got it right. Price point is not bad either.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for, finally one with wifi. These are going to be huge for the holiday season, such a great gift to either for anyone to have.

That does sound good, but that price point is a bit high. For $20 more you could purchase an inexpensive laptop and review photos, or even watch DVD's on it's 14" screen. You could even use a wireless mouse and keyboard and hook the laptop up to a 42" LCD TV...oh wait, that's what I did.

This one should cost 100 and the no frills one should cost 50
Like the countless DIY have shown, its not expensive to make, they are just rip offs.

Do Not buy this frame, Horrible design the CF card slot is so close to the housing it require pliers to remove it. Mine has several dead pixels. I spent 2 hours trying to get the WiFi to work and the one time it did connect the digital spectrum sever would not allow a registration. No contrast or brightness control.
