well duh,
but if the true market price of diamonds was actually in practice, the market would go find some other semi-precious stone to put in an engagement ring. Price fixing is funny like that, as well as perceived value.

I'm sure in true market value a 1 carat diamond is probably like $50.

as for that box... lol @ the "my proposal" bullet selection.
