Would phone manufacturers PLEASE make a wireless device who's PRIMARY function is a phone. And not only a phone, one that has ample volume in the earpiece, doesn't sound like you are talking in a well, and connects with a BT headset correctly. I don't care if a wireless phone is a fricking swiss army knife, but PLEASE, if you are going to short sell the phone side of it, STOP selling them as a PHONE.
As dumb as this sounds, I think most of the people on Engadget rarely use their phone as a 'phone' at all. It's all about email, internet, sms, music, camera, video. Myself included.
How simple does it have to be? 1) Dial 2) Talk 3) Hang up. They've all pretty much got that down.
Some people are too simple minded. If you look at the market the #1 selling phone is good for just that. Besides if it wasn't smart to incorporate data service in phones, networks wouldn't spend so much on marketing it.
