I bought a Red Light signal transmitter and installed it right behind my rearview mirror with a little switch I installed in my dashboard. Now all I gotta do is push it and the traffic light turns green (as if I was a fire engine).

Back on topic, this seems like a nice little 'hack' but its use is most likely very limited.

As a broadcaster I find the concept of cell phone jammers extremely disturbing. They not only interfere with cell phones but also with licensed RF channels in the 950 mhz band used by broadcasters for inter-facility links. As annoying and inconsiderate as some cell phone users are, it is a federally licensed service and subject to protection from interference by the FCC. In addition, interfering with these frequencies can cause serious issues with emergency communications.

If you're seriously thinking about procuring one of these devices from the grey market, don't.

I would instead suggest having the balls to actually approach the offending cell phone user politely and let them know that they are bothering you. Most cell phone users have no idea that they are bothering someone else!
